Fridley Notice of LBAE 05-01-2020 City of Fridley (Legal Notice) Notice of Board of Appeal and Equalization Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Fridley shall meet on May 11, 2020, 6:30 p.m., at Fridley Civic Campus. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. This may affect your 2021 property taxes. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office at 763-572-3536 or 763-572-3537 to discuss your concerns. Written appeals are due to the assessor’s office by 4:30 on May 11, 2020. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization. st Given under my hand this 1 day of May, 2020 Daniel Tienter, City Clerk
