RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 53
A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA ADOPTING
A 2020 PROPERTY TAX LEVY, COLLECTIBLE IN 2021
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council (Council) of the City of Fridley, Minnesota (City), as
follows:
Section 1. Recitals.
1.01. The Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Fridley, Minnesota
(Authority) at its regular meeting on September 3, 2020 adopted Resolution No. 2020–08:
A Resolution Adopting A 2020 Tax Levy Collectible in 2021 (Resolution).
1.02. The Council must consent to any Authority levy prior to it becoming effective as required
by Minnesota Statutes Section 469.033.
Section 2. Consent.
2.01. The Council hereby consents to the Authority Resolution and to the final levy of $564,099
to be levied in 2020 for collection in the year 2021, as described therein.
