CANVASS BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 2020-01
A RESOLTUION CERTIFYING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON
NOVEMBER 3, 2020
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Charter § 4.09 requires the City of Fridley Canvassing Board to certify results
of the municipal election held on November 3, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Anoka County has provided the Canvassing Board with an Abstract outlining all voting
results as Appendix A; and
WHEREAS, the individuals elected are Scott Lund for Mayor and David Ostwald for Councilmember-at-
Large; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Fridley City Charter § 3.01, Mayor Lund and Councilmember-at-Large
Ostwald will be sworn in at the January 4, 2021 meeting for a term to expire December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, The Fridley City Charter § 4.09 requires a list of all Election Judges be provided and is
attached as Appendix B along with a true copy of the ballot, which is attached as Appendix C.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Fridley Canvassing Board certifies the results
of the 2020 General Election.
