RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 78
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET FOR THE FISAL YEAR 2021, A REVISED
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2020 AND THE 2021–2025 CAPITAL INVESTMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The City Manager presented a Proposed 2021 Budget, Proposed 2021–2025 Capital
Investment Program and a Revised 2020 Budget as stipulated by the City Charter § 7.04 to the City
Council for their review and consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Proposed 2021 Budget and its associated volumes and appendices provides for an
effective and orderly allocation of financial resources; and
WHEREAS, on December 14, 2020, consistent with City Charter § 7.05, the City Council has held
a public meeting to give interested citizens a reasonable amount of time in which to be heard, and
an opportunity to ask questions prior to passage of the final budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concluded that the 2021 Budget, as proposed, meets the needs of the
City and the requirements of the City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby
approves and adopts the Revised 2020 Budget, the 2021 Budget, and 2021–2025 Capital Investment
Program as presented.
