Resolution No. 2021-45 Approving Gifts, Donations & Sponsorships Resolution No. 2021-45 Approving Gifts, Donations and Sponsorships for the City of Fridley Whereas, throughout the year the City of Fridley (City) receives a multitude of gifts and donations; and Whereas, the City is sincerely grateful for the support it receives from an array of organizations and individuals; and Whereas, without this support, the continuation of different events or programs would be difficult to sustain; and Whereas, the attached schedule (Exhibit A) lists all of the donations and gifts received by various City departments between April 20, 2021 and May 17, 2021; and Whereas, all of the items listed on the attached schedule (Exhibit A) are required to be accepted by the City Council by a two-thirds majority vote; and Whereas, all items have been determined to be donated free of any quid-pro-quo expectation by the donor. Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves and accepts the various donations, gifts and sponsorships made between April 20, 2021 and May 17, 2021, as outlined in Exhibit A.
