Award of Sanitary Sewer Collection System Lining Project No. 22-450B
Whereas, the City of Fridley’s existing sanitary sewer system collects and conveys wastewater to
Met Council Environmental Services (MCES) infrastructure for treatment; and
Whereas, the City of Fridley’s existing sanitary sewer system is part of the City’s essential
infrastructure systems that provide service to all in the community, and the Public Works
Department has set a goal for maintenance and rehabilitation of this system; and
Whereas, the Sanitary Sewer Collection System Lining Project (Project) is included as part of the
City’s Capital Investment Program for the trenchless rehabilitation of select segments of the
existing sanitary sewer system and was recently let for competitive bids in accordance with the
City’s Capital Investment Program; and
Whereas, the Project eligible for a reimbursement under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
Grants and partial reimbursement from the MCES Inflow/Infiltration grant program.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby receives the
bids for the Sanitary Sewer Collection System Lining Project No. 22-450B per the attached bid
tabulation and awards the project to the lowest responsive bidder, Hydro-Klean, LLC of Des
Moines, IA in the amount of $213,605.28.
