Resolution Establishing a Police Civil Service Commission A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A POLICE CIVIL
SERVICE COMMISSION IN THE VILLAGE OF FRIDLEY
Whereas it is deemed advisable in the public interest that a
police civic service commission be created in the Village of Fridley,
And whereas said Village desires to avail itself of provisions .
of the laws of the State of Minnesota for the creation of such a commission.
Now therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Village of
Fridley:
That Chapter i.l9, and particularly the Session Laws of Minnesota
for 1929, Chapter 299, and amendments thereto, be end the same hereby are
expressly accepted and adopted.
Be it further resolved that from and after the appointment of
the commission provided for in said laws, said commission shall have, control
and supervision over the employment, promotion, discharge and aispension of all
officers and employees of the Felice Department of said Village, as provided
in said laws.
