Resolution No. 2022-46
Providing for the Sale of General Obligation Tax Abatement Bonds, Series 2022A
Whereas, the Fridley City Council (Council) has determined that it is necessary and expedient to issue
the City's $20,730,000 General Obligation Tax Abatement Bonds, Series 2022A (Bonds), to finance
the improvements to the park system as identified in the Park System Improvement Plan in the City;
and
Whereas, the City has retained Ehlers & Associates, Inc., in Roseville, MN (Ehlers), as its independent
municipal advisor for the Bonds in accordance with Minnesota Statutes § 475.60, subd. 2(9);
Therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley authorizes Ehlers to assist the
City for the sale of the Bonds.
Be it further resolved, that the Council shall meet at 7:00 p.m. on June 13, 2022, for the purpose of
considering proposals for and awarding the sale of the Bonds.
Be it further resolved, that in connection with said sale, the officers or employees of the City are
hereby authorized to cooperate with Ehlers and participate in the preparation of an official statement
for the Bonds and to execute and deliver it on behalf of the City upon its completion.
