Notice of Public Hearing to Consider a Text Amendment by Happy Tails
Rescue Foundation
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Fridley will hold a public hearing
on March 17, 2021 at 7:00 pm via telephone or other electronic means.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Fridley will hold a public hearing on April
12, 2021 at 7:00 pm in person at Fridley Civic Campus located at 7071 University Avenue N.E.
Consideration of a Text Amendment #21-02, by Happy Trails Rescue Foundation, to add new code
language that would allow an Animal Rescue Facility in the M-1 Light Industrial zoning district by a
special use permit.
Mayoral Declaration No. 20-01 and Ordinance No. 1380 have declared that a local emergency is in
effect in the City of Fridley. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 13D.021 this meeting will be held by
telephone or other electronic means. In accordance with the recommendation of Executive Orders
21-01, which recommend remote meetings whenever possible, the March 17, 2021 Planning
Commission meeting will be held via interactive webinar.
Public Comment Before a Meeting
If you have public comments to submit before a meeting, please send your comments to
stacy.stromberg@fridleymn.gov or contact 763–572–3595. Public comments will be received up until
noon on the day of the meeting. Comments will be compiled and delivered to the Planning
Commission and City Council.
