Notice of Public Hearing to Consider an Ordinance Amending the City
Code, Chapter 214, Signs
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Fridley will hold a public hearing
on October 20, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Fridley City Hall, 7071 University Avenue N.E.
The public hearing will consider an ordinance amending the City Code, by repealing Chapter 214,
Signs in its entirety and adopting a new Chapter 214, Signs. The purpose of the repeal and replace
is to comply with constitutional requirements related to regulating the content of a sign and to
create consistency throughout the code chapter.
Any person desiring to be heard shall be given an opportunity at the above stated time and placed.
