Resolution No. 2022-66
Appointing Election Judges for the 2022 Election Year
Whereas, Section 4.05 of the Fridley City Charter requires the City Council to appoint at least two
Election Judges and one Head Judge to each of the City’s polling locations; and
Whereas, the City Clerk’s Office has determined the minimum number of Election Judges required
to adequately administer each polling location in the City; and
Whereas, pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 204B.19, the City Clerk’s Office has ensured that no more
than half, plus one, of all Election Judges in a polling location be affiliated with the same major
political party; and
Whereas, all Election Judges in the City will receive required training provided by the City, Anoka
County, and the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office.
Now therefore be it resolved, the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby appoints the following
individuals to act as Election Judges for municipal elections in 2022:

Now therefore be it resolved, the individuals listed in this resolution are hereby appointed to the
role of Election Judge to administer elections in the City of Fridley for the Regular Primary on August
9, 2022, and the General Election on November 8, 2022.
Be it further resolved, the City Clerk is hereby authorized to appoint qualified substitutes as set
forth in Section 4.05 of the Fridley City Charter.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Fridley this 13th day of June, 2022.
