HRA RESOLUTION NO. 2022–06
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FUNDING FOR INSTALLATION OF TREES AT
ST
61 & UNIVERSITY AVENUE PARKLET
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners (the "Commissioners") of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Fridley (the "Authority") as follows:
Section 1. Recitals.
1.01 The redevelopment and clean-up of blighted buildings along University Avenue
has long been a priority for the HRA and City Council.
1.02 The Authority and Council have participated in a number of redevelopment
projects, improving the image along University Avenue.

1.03 The vacant parcel at the corner of 61 & University Avenue is underutilized and
unfinished.
1.04 A phased series of improvements to the parcel will provide a finished look to
University Avenue.
Section 2. Approvals.
2.01 The Authority funding installation of eight spruce trees is hereby authorized.
