Resolution No. 2022-139 Certifying the Final Tax Levy Requirements for 2023 to the County of Anoka Whereas, the Fridley City Charter § 7.02 grants the City of Fridley (City) the power to raise money by taxation pursuant to the laws of the State of Minnesota; and Whereas, Minnesota Statute § 275.07, subd. 1 requires the City to certify its final tax levy requirements to Anoka County on or before December 28, 2022 (five working days after December 20) in each year. Now therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby certifies to the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, the following final tax levy to be levied in 2022 for collection in the year 2023: Final 2023 Property Tax Levy Levy Component Amount General Fund $ 13,844,706 Information Technology Capital Projects Fund 73,955 Springbrook Nature Center Fund 498,343 Bonded Indebtedness (2017A & 2022A) 5,203,866 Total $ 19,620,870 Be it further resolved, that the City Council authorizes the City Manager, or their designee, to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the County of Anoka, Minnesota. th Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Fridley this 12 day of December, 2022. _______________________________________ Scott J.
