Resolution No. 2022-140
Approving a Budget for the Fiscal Year 2023 and the 2023-2027 Capital Investment Program
Whereas, the City Manager presented a Proposed 2023 Budget and Proposed 2023-2027 Capital
Investment Program as stipulated by the Fridley City Charter (Charter) § 7.04 to the Fridley City
Council (Council) for their review and consideration; and
Whereas, the Proposed 2023 Budget and its associated volumes and appendices provides for an
effective and orderly allocation of financial resources; and
Whereas, on November 28, 2022, consistent with the Charter § 7.05, the Council has held a public
meeting to give interested citizens a reasonable amount of time in which to be heard, and an
opportunity to ask questions prior to passage of the final budget; and
Whereas, the Council concluded that the 2023 Budget, as proposed, meets the needs of the City
and the requirements of the Charter.
Now therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves and
adopts the 2023 Budget, and 2023-2027 Capital Investment Program as presented.
