Approving Change Order No. 2 (Final) for 2022 Street Rehabilitation
Project No. ST2022-01
Whereas, the 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project (Project) included street rehabilitation on
st
Hartman Circle, 71 Way, Riverview Terrace and West Bavarian Pass as part of the City of Fridley’s
(City) regular street maintenance program under a contract with S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc. of
Jordan, MN (Contractor); and
Whereas, the Project was funded by the City’s Minnesota State Aid System funding, utility
enterprise funds and special assessments; and
Whereas, additional work has been directed by the City to be completed by the Contractor
including the Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $104,013.25; and
Whereas, cumulative additional work has been directed by the City has modified the original
contract from $827,434.60 to $945,030.55 (14.2% increase); and
Whereas, the Contractor performed work as directed by City staff.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves
Approval of Change Order No. 2 (Final) for the 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project No. ST2022-01
in the amount of $104,013.25.
