Approving Lawful Gambling Lease for Lions Club to Add Bingo Events at
Forgotten Star Brewery
Whereas, the Fridley City Code (Code) and various sections of Minnesota Statute (M.S.) direct
licensing requirements for certain business activities within the City of Fridley (City); and
Whereas, pursuant to Chapter 30 of the Code, the City Council shall approve lawful gambling
activities; and
Whereas, a Lawful Gambling lease application was submitted by Adam Bedard to the State of
Minnesota for adding Bingo Events at Forgotten Star Brewery; and
Whereas, applicable City staff have reviewed the applications and conditions of the City’s Lawful
Gambling activities; and
Whereas, applicable City staff recommend the approval of the following lease by the City Council.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves the
Lawful Gambling lease to be issued to Adam Bedard for Bingo Events to be held at Forgotten Star
Brewery.
