Resolution No. 2023-106, Receiving the City of Fridley Administrative Appeals Guide Resolution No. 2023 - 106 Receiving the City of Fridley Administrative Appeals Guide Whereas, pursuant to Section 6.01 of the Fridley City Charter (Charter), the City Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Fridley (City); and Whereas, pursuant to Section 6.02(f) of the Charter, the City Manager will “recommend to the Council for adoption such measures as may be deemed necessary for the welfare of the people and the efficient administration of City affairs;” and Whereas, the Appeals and Administrative Citations Chapter of the Fridley City Code (Code) describes appeal procedures with respect to violations of the Code; and Whereas, the Appeals and Administrative Citations Chapter of the Code was rewritten through the City’s recodification of the Code and approved by the Council in 2020, 2022 and 2023; and Whereas, the City Manager directed the City Clerk Division to create a guide for staff and the public’s use with regards to appeal procedures offered through the Appeals and Administrative Citations Chapter of the Code; and Whereas, through collaboration with staff from all departments and review by the City Attorney, the City Clerk Division created the City’s Administrative Appeals Guide; and Whereas, the City Manager approved the Administrative Appeals Guide on September 15, 2023. Now therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby receives the Administrative Appeals Guide. th Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Fridley this 9 day of October, 2023. ________________________________________ Scott J.
