Designating Time and Number of City Council Meetings for 2024
Whereas, the Fridley City Charter (Charter) § 3.01 requires the Fridley City Council to meet at a
fixed time not less than once each month; and
Whereas, the Charter § 3.01 requires the Fridley City Council to meet at such times as may be
prescribed by resolution; and
Whereas, it is the intent of the Fridley City Council to comply with the open meeting provisions
contained in Minnesota Statutes 13D;
Now, therefore be it resolved, by the City Council of the City of Fridley that:
1. The Fridley City Council will hold regular meetings in the Council Chambers of the Fridley
Civic Campus, 7071 University Avenue N.E., commencing at 7:00 p.m. on the following
dates in 2024:
January 8, January 22, February 12, February 26, March 11, March 25, April 8, April 22, May
13, May 28, June 10, June 24, July 8, July 22, August 12, August 26, September 9, September
23, October 14, October 28, November 12, November 25, December 9 and December 23.
2. The City Council will hold conference meetings prior to regularly scheduled City Council
meetings, except for the last City Council meeting in December.
